HostGator Web Hosting Review

I currently have a Reseller account with HostGator, and my personal experience is OK. Support questions are usually answered within about an hour and technical problems have been fixed in a competent way.
 
Their low-budget plan is called "Hatchling"; it currently offers the (insane) amounts of 350GB space and 3000GB/month transfer for $6.95 per month - but you must pay for a whole year (or get a $4.95/month deal by paying for 3 years upfront). With the other plans, which begin at $9.95 per month, you also have the option to pay monthly. There are no setup fees.
 
The "Hatchling" plan allows you to have just one domain; but all other accounts come with unlimited domain allowance.
 

I have seen several posts at WebHostingTalk.com, a leading web hosting forum, from people who express their spontaneous happiness about the service level of this company. It is unusual to find so much genuine praise for a budget web hosting provider, since people are much more likely to post negatives than positives.
